New Horizons Computer Learning Center of New Orleans is a Prometric Testing Center! Call your Account Executive if you are interested in taking a certification exam at one of our centers.

For those IT professionals preparing for a certification exam, New Horizons Exam Prep provides the simulation environment that can effectively assess your test readiness and prepare you to pass your exam the first time.

What is our Prometric site code?
- We are proud to have 2 Prometric testing centers! New Orleans = LAB
What are the testing hours?
- Monday through Friday starting at 9:30 and ending by 4:30. (Ex. A candidate would like to take an A+ Hardware exam and they would like the latest appointment available. The total test time given for A+ is 2 hours so the latest appointment would be at 2:30.)
Do we accept same day testing?
- No.
How to register for an exam?
- By phone
  All testers must call and schedule their exam with Prometric. To ensure that the candidate is scheduled at our site give them our Site Code which is LAB and the Biloxi center is MS11.

What are acceptable forms of ID when the candidate is checking in with the front desk?
- All IT Certification Exams Require 2 forms of ID.
- The Primary ID must be valid (not expired), government issued, and contain a photograph and a signature.
- Acceptable Government-issued Photo/Signature IDs include: Driver’s License, Passport, Military identification (when it contains a signature), Welfare card, Green card/alien registration card, Other government-issued ID with photo/signature.
- The secondary ID must contain a signature.
- Acceptable Signature/ Secondary IDs include: Government employee ID, University or College ID, Credit Card, Check Cashing Card
- Unacceptable IDs include: Social Security cards, Birth Certificate, Birth Registration, Movie rental card, Membership cards.
What is our late policy?
- If a candidate arrives 15 minutes late we may test him if it does not adversely affect the rest of the testers scheduled that day. If a candidate arrives 30 minutes late the candidate will be asked to reschedule the exam.
- Please note: The candidate must have the proper forms of ID, without 2 proper forms of ID we are Not Allowed to test the candidate. We will refer the candidate to call the Candidate care number with Prometric where they will be asked to reschedule their exam and obtain the proper forms of identification.
